AI-Generated Artwork Policy

At Jen's Little T's, we are committed to producing high-quality printed products while reducing unnecessary waste wherever possible. To achieve the best results, we require artwork that is suitable for professional printing.

For this reason, AI-generated logos and branding are not accepted for print without being professionally recreated. This applies to clothing, stationery, signage, stickers, promotional materials, and other printed products.

Why don't we accept AI-generated logos?

While AI image generators are excellent for creating concepts and inspiration, they are not designed to produce professional, print-ready branding.

Common issues include:

  • Poor print quality – AI-generated artwork is usually supplied as a raster image rather than a true vector file. This can result in blurry or pixelated prints, particularly on larger products such as clothing, banners, signage, and display materials.
  • Loss of detail – Enlarging AI artwork often reduces quality, while shrinking it can cause fine lines, small text, and intricate details to become compressed, merge together, or disappear completely.
  • Inconsistent colours – AI-generated artwork frequently contains blended colours, gradients, and subtle variations that cannot always be reproduced accurately across different printing methods or materials.
  • Fonts cannot be matched – AI often creates lettering that looks like a font but isn't based on a real typeface. This means text cannot be accurately edited, corrected, or matched for future products and branding.
  • Limited editing – AI artwork is typically supplied as a flattened image, making it difficult or impossible to separate elements, adjust colours, or prepare the file correctly for production.

Reducing Waste

Producing items from unsuitable artwork increases the risk of poor-quality prints, rejected products, and unnecessary reprints. This results in wasted materials, ink, packaging, energy, and shipping. By only accepting artwork that meets professional print standards, we help minimise waste and reduce the environmental impact of the printing process while ensuring our customers receive products they're proud to use.
